The world of the grown-ups. This resulted in a huge Mushroom. Is it a small Paddo in a big world or a big Paddo in a small world ?

Sagano bamboo furniture is a new method eco-friendly furniture for the home made of bamboo veneer. Its uniqueness is a technology of the production. A single line of veneer twisted in a roll forms the object. This technology gives an opportunity to make a durable wood product in an easier way. For a chair represented in the collection used 160 meters of veneer. This technology allows creating an especial shape each time, which makes every piece original.

Morph

Morph is standalone side table made with 100% recyclable cardboard material and incorporates the E-ink Prism sheet on top as surface treatment. E-ink Prism is the electrical ink laminated film sheets that can change its pattern with very low electricity voltage. As its name describes the transforming shape of pure circle to complex curvature, Morph symbolizes traditional paper to new generation electrical paper, and fabricated with the digital modeling technology and CNC fabrication method.

The form, very sculptural seems to have self-generated, while maintaining linearity remembers very complex organic shapes of nature. The chair adopts the mortice and tenon structure, with 32 of them in total, and 12 different angles. Tenoning at different angles means to opening holes at different angles, which makes industrialised production impossible; tenoning, hole-opening, assembling, trimming, and polishing all have to be done by hands.

Tulip umbrella

The remodeling of the existing parking lot in the small seaport town of Youghal quickly became an iconic visual symbol for the town. The 12 umbrellas that measure 6 x 6 m cover the former parking lot and convert it into a meeting place capable of withstanding a wide range of weather conditions. Local residents have since lovingly nicknamed the area “Umbrella Square”. Nothing more to add to this urban architectural intervention? It could not have been better – and this is the case for everyone involved.
