Jungle

Inspired by nature, the premise of the Jungle glass collection is to create objects that gain their value from the quality, design and material. Simple shapes reflect the serenity of the medium, while being weightless and strong at the same time. Vases are mouth-blown and shaped by hand, signed and numbered. The rhythm of the glass making process ensures that each object in the Jungle Collection has a unique colour play that mimics the movement of waves.

Saddle Seat

Saddle Seat is a new archetype chair that provides good posture and high concentration of users’ work and study with playful aspect. While normal chairs can be sit with one way, users can ride on it, sit sideway and lean on arm rest when they have a break. Furthermore, Saddle Seat cares about sustainability. The structure is made out of one non-welded piece of steel tube. It can be stacked when it is transported. Users will be able to enjoy the aging of wooden components and cultivate a sense of care and longevity.

Shell

The Shell sofa appeared as a combination of sea shells outlines and fashion trends in imitating exoskeleton technology and 3d printing. The aim was to create a sofa with the effect of optical illusion. It should be the light and airy furniture that could be used both at home and outdoors. To achieve the effect of lightness a web of nylon ropes was used. Thus the hardness of the carcass is balanced by the weaving and softness of the silhouette lines. A rigid base under the corner sections of the seat can be used as side tables and soft overhead seats and cushions finish the composition.

Inspired by the tufted fabric, designer Brooke M Davis takes the form to the next level through material exploration. Portuguese Roots

The Design was intented to have long lines stretched to the limit and it was designed to give proportion to Comfort . The aesthetics was important, comfort was a priority, but the most challenging part in this work was the resistance. The lines are simple but the construction was a chalenge . At the end, it was the perfect symbiosis between Art and Craftmanship that had the ability to transform a simple piece of wood in a piece of art .

Aestus

Aestus is the first design project by architecture and wood researcher Oliver David Krieg. Conceived as a series of stratified wooden vases in search for a new synthesis of traditional materials and modern technology, Aestus is both a story of material exploration and of technical prowess. Carved from hundreds of layers of wood by an industrial robot, the vases capture the fluidity of the machine's movements in the depth of the wooden texture. Each of the four vases is an expression of the aesthetics of a modern manufacturing process, as well as a statement for contemporary wood design.
