Basquete as the name suggest, is an elegant and extremely comfortable chair inspired by a simple basketball. We were searching for something unusual and original, and then this interesting idea came to our mind. Deforming a basketball could change our perspective as the environment we live. It’s fluid and organic design allow us to seat perfectly, because the key point of this project is comfort.
Continue readingDRILLING is a three-legged stool, which is composed of three identical aluminium parts. The multiple use of the same parts creates an advantage within the production process on the one hand and a formal neatness and simplicity on the other. The three parts of the stool are connected alongside their respective outward facing surfaces. By doubling the material along the legs DRILLING gains its stability and rigidity. The seat which is formed by joining the three parts has a recess at its center, which can be used as a handle for carrying the stool.
Continue readingThe Boletus coffee table was conceived as a piece of functional sculpture. The implausibly slender base and expansive top are intended to appear surreal in proportion and challenge convention. The design utilises modern, composite materials to maximise strength and stability so as not to compromise on the aesthetic. Ultimately, whilst intriguing to look at from all angles, the table can effortlessly hold your coffee tray.

Inspired by the need for privacy in waiting areas, Rest Point provides passengers a private area to relax and carry out activities such as getting online via personal digital device or reading. Placed in a shifted order, passengers are not disturbed by the person behind or interrupted by person next, since seating units are separate. Designed for need of passangers in terminals, it offers a working area and plugs for electronic devices. Comfortable seating unit also provides a safe luggage area that keeps baggage safe.

Each piece including “kagome stool” has been created with lines that minimize excess to express both form and functionality in a range of applications, inspired by unique sources such as traditional Japanese craft and patterns. Kagome stool is made from 18 right angle triangles that support each other and when viewed from above forms the traditional Japanese craft pattern kagome moyou.
Continue readingA Dining Table designed to provide seating for eight people, who interact in arrow arrangement. The top is an abstract X, made of two different pieces accentuated by a deep line, while the same abstract X is reflected on the floor with the base structure. The white structure is made of three different pieces for easy assembling and transportation. Moreover, the contrast of teak veneer of the top and white for the base was selected to lighten the lower part giving more emphasis on the irregularly shaped top, thus providing a hint for different interaction of the users.
