garden cube

A maximum, minimalistic garden on a space of 130/130/130 cm. The European interpretation of Japanese Zen Gardens. Forming a cube with a pruned yew and a limestone. The joint between both is defined by an almost diagonal line through the cube. Two materials, plant and stone, a simple shape, following Mies van der Rohes claim:"Less is more". The sculpture moved from Germany to Armenia, where it is placed at the beginning of the Prince of Wales Avenue in the United World College in DILIJAN, ARMENIA.

Re-leaf

In each autumn, fallen leaves are everywhere on the street, not be used. To figure out a way of fallen leaves and give trees more fertilizer, the team find a solution in the tree pools design. Return to the Roots is the solution of fallen leaves. Semi-closed tree pool can effectively avoid water runoff. Trees are spread fertilizer which is rot by their own fallen leaves in the enclosed space formed by the tree pool, so as to increase soil nutrients and stimulate tree growth.

Exocet

Exocet is an innovative concept chair. The ergonomic design allows to transform it into various furniture styles. From a tall chair to a double lounge chair or hammock-style rocker, it can be configured in several ways to meet different needs and wants. The Exocet is crafted from a single main piece. Identical slats are assembled around a cylinder offering a 360˚ rotation. Once the desired configuration is obtained, the user simply tightens the handle to lock the chair into position. Exocet is a new kind of chair for all kinds of moments.

Turf rug lounger

The Rug Lounger is a new concept in furniture consisting of a Rug and a Lounger which works in harmony with one another. The round shaped Rug creates the smallest possible private space and gives you comfort and a relaxing time. A small table can be set on the big dots on the dotted Rug which creates a private space. Using an artificial grass rug achieves a low cost design which is available for various scenes from indoor to outdoor.

Ydin

Ydin stool can be mounted by yourself, without using special tools, thanks to a simple interlocking system. The 4 identical feet are placed in no particular order and the concrete seat, acting as the keystone, keeps everything in place. Feet are made with scrap wood coming from a stairs manufacturer, easily machined using traditional woodworking techniques and finally oiled. The seat is simply moulded in a lasting fiber-reinforced UHP Concrete. Only 5 dissociable parts to be flat packed and ready to be shipped to final customers, is another sustainability argument.

Eureka

The Eureka Lounge Chair is inspired by the smallest surface in nature, the Empener surface, and gives a sense of order and flow to the lounge space through a mathematically modelled curved form. The smooth curves and curved edges add visual tension to the product. Wool fabrics from the Kvadrat Sprinkles collection, in warm colours, allows the user to perceive the comfort of the furniture before using it and creates a desire to confirm this feeling through use.
