Infinity

Personifying the symbol of perpetuity into a sensationally sculptural magnum opus, Infinity designer table collection by Stefano Bigi for Porada adapts both the shape and the meaning of this principle with compelling base and minimalist glass top. Paralleling the theory’s adaptation in cultural spheres, Stefano brings the realms of eternity into the world of modern design with his though-provoking interpretation of dynamics featuring sinuous lines that create an illusion of material pliability nevertheless as solid as the tables can be, being made of chrome, solid wood and glass.

'A' Back Windsor

Solid hardwood, traditional joinery and contemporary machinery update the fine Windsor Chair. The front legs pass through the seat to become the king post and the back legs reach to the crest. With triangulation this strong design realigns the forces of compression and tension to maximum visual and physical effect. Milk paint or clear oil finish maintain the sustainable tradition of Windsor Chairs.

Guten Morgen - Pure Light

The "Guten Morgen - Pure Light" bed is an oasis for good sleep. The design of this extraordinary bed is the key to its incredible comfort. We concentrate on the development of three areas: The air gap along its whole long side makes an air circulation possible, so there can no water accumulate in the mattress. The strong frame construction with its integrated massive larch-board does avoid radiation loss. Due to the larch construction the radiation of water veins is verifiable reduced. The larch wood for the frame is chosen and manufactured by hand without any bolts or metallic connections.

Vortex

The aim of the vortex design is to find a new form to influence water flow in washbasins to increase their efficiency, contribute to their user experience and improve their aesthetic and semiotic qualities. The result is a metaphor, derived from an idealized vortex form that signifies drain and water flow which visually indicates the entire object as a functioning washbasin. This form combined with the tap, guides the water in to a spiral path allowing the same amount of water to cover more ground which results in decreased water consumption for cleaning.

The Monroe Chair

Striking elegance, simplicity in idea, comfortable, designed with sustainability in mind. The Monroe Chair is an attempt to drastically simplify the manufacturing process involved in making an armchair. It exploits the potential of CNC technologies to repeatedly cut out a flat element from MDF, these elements are then splayed around a central axis to shape a complexly curved armchair. The back leg gradually morphs into the backrest and the armrest into the front leg, creating a distinct aesthetic entirely defined by the simplicity of the manufacturing process.
